Last Thursday night, we opened the doors of our Melrose pop-up. Friends and family rolled in from all parts of the city to toast to both the release of Spectacle 9 and that dope little space behind one of Los Angeles' most notorious coffee brands, Alfred Coffee. You know, of 'But first...' fame.
The cozy space was designed by the LA-based firm that brought our GLCO retail spaces to life, West of West. We worked with our friends from the Silverlake-based Virgil Normal to make our walls pop with graphics and hand-painted signage. Our coffees will be served with custom sleeves, designed by artist Blake Wright.
Special thanks to Croft Alley for the bites; Heineken, Absolut, Baileyana and Juice Served Here for the drinks; Bouqs for the flowers; Curbstand for manning our valet; and, of course, Alfred Coffee. Special shout-out to everyone who came and brought the good vibes with 'em.
