Elvis Presley personified several classic looks that inspired men’s fashion across borders and generations: rockabilly in blue suede shoes; heartthrob in denim; clean cut GI in fatigues; motorcycle rebel in leather; Vegas showman in sequined, eagle-embroidered jumpsuits complete with cape. Regardless of how he attired himself, Elvis was always the King, a singular trendsetter with a unique and authentic style of his own and accessories, including eyewear, to match.
We’ve partnered with Mark McNairy and the Elvis estate to create The King, limited edition frames inspired by one of the most significant cultural icons of the twentieth century. Elvis once said, “Values are like fingerprints. Nobody’s are the same, but you leave them all over everything you do.” Elvis’ fingerprints are all over the King frames – modeled after several frames from his prized collection, most notably the Neostyle Nautic gold frames he wore throughout the late 60s and 70s. The gold finish plated temples feature the letters “TCB,” or “Taking Care of Business,” Elvis’ motto and mantra used on much of his iconic jewelry and emblazoned on the tail of his private jet. Long live the King. Get yours here.
