Beverly Hills, 90210
Aaron Spelling’s 90s megahit brought laidback, California style into the living rooms of America (in Stereo where Available).
You can’t kick off a conversation about the current wave of 90s fashion influence without mentioning 90210, the definitive series that functioned like a “Later!” to the Twentieth Century, running from 1990-2000 and capturing the hearts, minds, and California dreams of an entire generation of Millennials. Not to mention some of the most iconic frames in the business—Although a rumor floated around that director Aaron Spelling wouldn’t allow his actors to wear sunglasses (he wanted the audience to see their beautiful, angsty eyes), some timeless pairs appeared on screen.
