The Pianist

The Pianist

Tip the world over on its side and everything loose will land in Los Angeles. Specifically, at the end of Brooks Avenue on Venice Beach, where the End sign stands and it signifies not only the end of the black tar street, but the end of the continent. There, amid the pollutant sky during a warm, hazy west coast sunset are people drawn by the dream and people running from the nightmare. Meet Dylan Meek, a jazz pianist inspired by this city of sun. In 2014, Dylan arrived from the Lone Star State and onto the shores of Venice. We now know him as a man who effortlessly and commandingly walks on 88 ivory keys. This is his story; this is his music.
